Fat skis

hey guys, I just moved to whistler and now and i just got an oppourtunity to buy a new pair of Thugs with sth 16's for $400. I ski alot of park but now wanna get into the backcountry scene. I am a strong very strong skier, should I go for it and if not what would be a better pow ski for me. This will be for pow days I got my AR6's for the rest of the mountain.

first of all that is an amazing deal!! The thugs are a softer ski and are one of the better non-rockered pow skis. They aren't great for making sharp turn but besides that they are supposed to be a great fun ski. If you want a rockered pow ski however you could go for Hellbents, EP pros, Bibbys, JJs or ARGs for supperrr deep pow.

But 400 for thugs AND sth 16s is a hard deal to pass up, and you can always resell too....

If that. Do you just mean out of the park? Either way, thats a sick deal on the Thugs and they'll probably kill it all over.
