Fat skis

ok so heres my problem i am going to bible colledge in colorado and we get to ski 3 das a week at winterpark and i want a fat ski all i have is K2 Pe and i want a fat ski that i can ride everywhere chutes steeps deep pow drops and trees i love trees i was thinking about k2 pontoon or atimic thugs args or ants or even k2 hellbents or like Sr fraces Bacon but i need something that i can use all overthe mountain except groomers Ill use my PEs for that.

im 6 foot 3

and 175 lbs

i have 179 K2 PE

if it is sticktly powder the pontoons is the best choice seeing as how they are built for that purpose only, but are you planning on crushing bigmuntain to?

personally i would get somethin big with a stiff flex patteren like the squad or the 193 EHP if i was riding pow and bigmountain together, dont confuse it with the 190 EHP ski though cause the 190 is softer has camber is skinnier and isint actually 190 i think, atleast when you compare it with other skis.

if you are 6'3 i would really suggest trying somethine over 185, fat, with a stiff flex patteren it makes sense for ago fast ski, im getting the 190 EHP's and im 5'8 but they are kinda soft and there specifically a charging ski

ok im from ontario canada the biggest drop i ever did was like 6 feet i porbly wont be doing to much big mountain but i want a ski that good in the trees and pretty much all over the mountain i want to be able to do drops nothing crazy like 20feet max but i like steeps and chutes but i porbly wont be oging heli skiing or checking the snow pack anytime soon so i guess a powder ski will do

Don't go pontoons or ARGs if you want to use them all over the mountain except groomers. Don't get me wrong, they are sweet skis but not really that versitle. I use mine on big pow days, then Atuas on regular days, and first gen pistols for park. You kinda need 3 pairs of skis for either of those.

I would suggest 185 Scratch BCs, Fischer Atuas (186), 179/189 Seths (depending on your ability), 181 Mojo 105s, 181 Thugs (really fat, these are somewhat out of place), 186 prophet 100s, 181 Scott P4s, 185 ARVs, 183 Gotamas, 182 VCTs. You really have to think whether you want a stiff/medium/soft ski because there are so many types out there to decide from. ARVs are the softest, then the Seths. Atuas, Scratch BCs, prophets, P4s and VCTs are all medium-ish flex, then Thugs, Mojo 105s and Gotamas are stiffer. With the Goats being the stiffest of those.

Decide what flex you like, and whether it is important that you have a ski with a 100+ waist and it will narrow it down.

188 JP vs Juliens and 191 Ants you could throw in as well. The JP is soft and really straight. Great in pow and the park, but it isn't as versitile as the others mentioned. The ANTs are a big stiff ski, but can be versitile if you can power them. Personally I wouldn't go less than 95 in the waist or more than 105ish for what you are describing, but I would go over 100.

if ur doing more than just pow with these skis id say try to stay away from reverse sidecut and chamber skis due to there lack of adaptibility, I'm not saying they cant be used for doing everything on the mountain but they do lack in versitility compared to other skis. As for the rest of ur choices they are all very similar the thug, Bacons, and (i assume) the hellbents are all soft, fat, and very managable in anything. The ANT is stiffer and is more of a charging ski which sounds more like what u want to do with it and are u using this ski for park too? or are u using the PEs for that too?

ya the reverse camber is a little trickier for the allmountain seeing as how you only have a small amount of running surface on hard pack

get the seths. i would go 189 if you rip. but if your really short or just moderate got 179. basically seths are the best for what your looking for...

i'd go with 189 seths. Don't get 179, they'll prob be waaay too short for you. The 08 seths ride really short. Hellbents ride even shorter.

umm because of the rocker they actually measure to around 185, thats the hellbents im talking about

if you are a man you would go with volkl because they make the best skis (THA Sumo) if you have sand in you vagina and would like to go with a pussy ski i suggest the ATOMIC thug

you do not need the Pontoons while living in Colorado as much as you think you will. Buy something versital like the seth's or Gotamas or the Scratch BC's. The Ant's may be a good choice if you're looking for something straight powder. Check them out. yea. and uhhhh, I love my ARV's on a powder day in the tree's they are quite versitile.

You're not gonna have super deep days at WP.

I wouldn't see it fesible to get a reverse camber pow ski.

I'd suggest bacons/elizabeths/prophet 100's, seths, or maybe VCT's.. oh and p4's are also sick.
