i wanted to get some fatties... im a huge guy so i dunno what to get... i can get the scratch bc's and the moships for cheap but i dunno what i want... im like 5 foot 10 and about 210... any suggestions?

i have a 179 pistol, sick ski, floats in the powder, and still carves a really nice turn on a groomer....not a GREAT edge hold on ice, but what do u expect for a fatty

armada ARV 185s arent bad either, i work at freds freeride in killington and i demo'd them, pretty sick, STIFFER then the Pistol

never ridden the pocket rocket or Scratch BC

i have v pros right now so i wouldn't want AR5s... i want somethign like 93-100 waist... im thinking possibly 182 scratch bcs or pistol 179s but should i go to scratch 188s or pistol 189s?

I am 6 feet and 200 pounds and i ride the moships. Go for them. I tried the scratch and they were way to soft but the motherships are the best ski that i have ridden. But do not get lines bindings. They suck

The only enemy agaist progression is FEAR!

my 179 pistols ski fine on the hard pack and they dominate in the powder...plus u can get um for about 400 bucks now

Pistols are not flimsy, flex the ski at a 10 degree angle to the floor, you'll find that they are somewhat stiff. I think your best bet would be a pair of the Volkl fat skis, I don't know the model name, but they have the wizard graphic on them. Those things are FAT and pretty stiff.

If your gettin them next year the Head MoJo will be out. Get the 186. Ive been on it for a couple of months and it is a great ski. Its pretty stiff so it works well on hard pack also.
