Fat skis in the park?

This year i'm riding teneightys, and for next year I might be looking at getting some Seth Pistols. I love ripping in powder, but would the Pistols be too fat to spin well in the park?( because i ski park alot). I can spin really well and im comfortable on my tens, and I would like some info on how well the Pistols are in the park.

 
i cant comment on the pistols specifically, but i have skiied pocket rockets and 4FRNTs in the park and the width really has nothing to do with spinning. once you get a comfortable stance for skiing the wider ski, you shouldnt have a problem. i also ski the 1080s and went to the 4FRNTs and its not that huge of an adjustment

 
Sack up and giver it is the guy on the skiis that throws the spins not the size o your skiis. Hell 217cm skiis will even spin.

fatness makes no diff for spinning, and the wideness makes them easier to land with and slide rails on, but icy pipes are tough if you have no edges, thats the only disadvantage

i rode the mojo 176 last year in the park and they were fuckin sweet...great on rails, but they were too shiort for me all round

I love my Stomps for most things (especially rails) but I boot out coming down in the pipe (Actually its the binding or brake that knicks the wall).

i ride 188 bcs in the park and they are just the same to me, fat chicks need love too

4frnt or seth pistols take the cake, i like 4frnts more because they seemed stiffer to me.

seriously the only disadvantage i can come up with is that fatter skis can be a little bit tougher to ski ice with.
