Fat freestyle-specific skis

What ski designs are similar to the Line Anthems? They are good for butters, wide enough for landing in under a foot a fresh, symmetrical and center mounted (totally key) and light.

I have a ski specifically for freeriding, that is, no switch and no rails and only for days with fresh stuff, but I'm looking for a ski for all the other days and when I build a kicker out on the hill. the line really seems to fit the mold, almost to well, and I was wondering if any other skis out there are worth considering.

^^Not really, the lizzies are too short and too wide, I ski on the east coast, but the hellbents have reverse camber, which, again, isn't good for the east coast. a deep day is a foot of snow, and that's usually nice and heavy snow

^i'm 5'8" and 170

Boone park/powder ski, either 170cm or 180cm. Ridiculously sick from what I hear. Flexy enough to butter, its pretty much the same size as the anthem exactly at the 170cm version, and it can still charge will in places like tahoe. I mean, this is a 130-135lb. kid buttering these. but the heavier skiers on the team still rock them hard everywhere too, they do work for sure.

They're not as fat as the lizzies but they will kick ass everywhere on the mountain, and even if you mount them center you'll get used to it real fast.

really? i assumed that edge pressure gets reduced wtihout camber, but i haven't skied reverse camber before, u ski on firm surfaces with reverse camber?

something in the the upper 90s waiste

maybe an unsymmetrical would be better

but you can centermount if that is your preference

blends or arvs?

maybe tahoes?

The zeros would be sick, for sure.. but i dont think they come smaller than 178, so maybe a little long?

Fry was right earlier though, in saying that the Boone 93's in a 170 length might be a good choice.

Hellbents are not reverse camber by the way, they're rockered, there's a difference.

Rockered skis have a flat spot underfoot, so you still have a fair amount of effective edge, just not as much as a normal cambered ski.

From what I've heard the hellbents actually ski fairly well on hardpack.

i think the nordica zero in a 177 is going to be pretty much perfect for you.. the another possibility would be an atomic pimp in a similar length.. but to be honest i think the nordica is exactly the ski you want!

moment reno rocker, line anthems are really sick. vokl bridge, rossi s5, line blend, line anthem, salomon gun, or armada arv.

guys have gone way overboard here.

Remember he was asking about anthems? now everyones saying he should get something 100 underfoot...

try to stick in the mid 90's dude. so... a moment tahoe, boone 93, 4frnt MSP, Armada ARV, Liberty Helix, Dynastar Big Trouble, volkl wall, etc..

Any of those would work out REALLY well for you, I think.
