Fat Feet

Alright so i have some Rossi Salto's.

My feet are kind of fat and theres a problem getting them in. The space between my heel and top of my foot when i try to bend it to fit in is so fat. What can i do. My dad suggested cut out a peice of the hard plastic above the tounge with a sautering iron and it would move the toungh up more. Anything else?

not really but my feet are just massive there not fat there big and wide. Can't even wear running shoes there too skinny i wear sk8 shoes

GO TO A BOOTFITTER. It's their job. I work as a bootfitter and will always give free advice if someone comes in just to ask questions. There is no point asking 15 year olds on the internet for advice on boots.

Head boots are massive! big heel and toe pocket w/ moderate instep! salomon is moderate and a very average boot, and lower end nordicas tend to be wider as well!

not so! they have a narrow heel pocket, like a lange, lower instep, but they do have a mid range to semi large toe pocket

you need to try on every boot you can afford.

dalbellos worked best for me, all of the other boots i tried had too narrow of a toe box.

so try on everything you can get your hands on.

nordica gts8. give it a shot. its not the widest boot on the market, a little wider than your rossi's but you will really notice the difference in the instep (the area that you are having problems with). the nordicas are very accomidating in the instep since they have an extra peice of plastic there that can move around for some extra space. go to your local shop and check them out.

take them to a shop and one of the people who fit boots will help you, its ur best bet. and for a new boot try the Tecnica Vento 10 HVL its a nice boot and is Very wide

(hvl - high volume)

Go boot shopping for one that fits! See which one fits your foot, try some on, get customs if you have to. Theres nothing crappier then having hurt feet all day!

thats true.

i got my dalbellos on sale for like 119 though.

so even though the nordica were a little more comfortable it wasnt worth another $280.

its hard to get in it after that it just pushes an my lwoer calve a bit. My foot is fine once its in. Thanks guys . Is it possible to just go get my boot fir or do i need knew ones?

i have the same exact prob and i only weigh 105 lbs. go to a shop and they can heat up the boot and stretch it to a certain extent. that's what they did for me. also, for some reason, woman's boots tend to run wider, so if you go for a new pair just go for a non-flamboiant one. unless that's your kind of thing...

dude.

if its stepping in...

pull the tongue as far out as you can, and then point the hell out of your toes and push down.

seems like maybe you might be retarded.

Pull the tongue to the SIDE. It gets it right out of the way. Then pull the plastic sides apart at the throat of the boot when you're stepping in. New boots would be the best idea though. Atomic's B9 and most of the B series are an extra wide fit - check them out. But going to see a good bootfitter is the most important part.

HAHAAAAAAAahaaaa that was funny. But ya im proly just gonna get the stretched or whatever and get bigger instep(?) boots next year thanks alot.
