blablablabla
everyone should do what they want. and even while most models certainly are on the lower edge of "healthy weight", its most certainly closer to what we would look like without that whole civiliation thingy.
everybody has seen that pic of "the largest man in 1903 vs a regular cop today" on facebook. while there were probably fatter people around back then, dont forget the general message of that. people PAID money back then to see someone who looks like something we see everyday for free.
a rare amount of people is fat because of some kind of disorder, but i would go out on a limb and say that 95% are fat because they dont do any sport, never walk a single yard, always use the elevator and so fucking on and eat too fat ALL the time.
man vs dog
we are not meant to be fat, because no animal is. ever seen a fat dog? you probably thought that its owner is too dumb to give the dog proper food. at least i would think so. humans have shown that they are too dumb on a billion of occasions, so its not really surprising to see too many fat people.
BMI
and BMI is a horseshit measurement. everyone who said that models are ALL anorexic because of their BMI is a tool. BMI is such a dumb measurement, because it loses accuracy for taller/smaller people as well as muscular people (or said more general, its not so easy to compare yourself with other people with differing heights/builds just because they have the same BMI). so most topmodels are around 6 ft tall, which is well above the average for women. a semi-related example is myself. i am 6'2", 185 lbs. i look pretty skinny because i have long arms and legs, but my BMI is already 24 or so (18,5-25 is "healthy"). at around 195 lbs, i would be considered slightly overweight, and at around 145 lbs, i would still be considered "healthy". 40 lbs less and still healthy? nice job BMI.
