Anyone do them? or do any other jib variation? I'm gettin hella sick of the same ole rail slides and i wanna see more people doin more shit

 
not to be an asshole, but are you retarted? you do anything other than a regular grind on a 25ft+ rail and i'll sponsor you myself. it ain't happenin.

my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.

watch happy dayz, tanner does a tailslide down one of the ledges and in the latest axis magazine there is a pic of eric pollard doing a noseslide over a rainbow rail it looks really sweet. but both moves like really hard to do.

I've messed around w/ fastslides on Killingtons rainbow. They are pretty easy on the rainbow. To do them on regular rails u really gotta haul ass.

I practiced my tailslide all day on a little urban rail and its very hard..but I landed it couple of times...Maybe I'll send it in the movie section.

I was doin tail slide 270 out and nose slide to fakie on rails this past summer it's not that hard to do u just need balance I only did it on like 15 staight rails but I think down hand rails it would be super hard , people need to start doin different kindes of grindes and styles cause just normal front side slides are boring

I've never seen a backslide or anyother slide excuted well with style, therefore they are gay..(unless somone has seen them done good)

Fastslide would be downhill foot on the rail with your uphill ski not touching the rail. To do this you really need to have speed and compensate so your balance is centered if not forward of your downhill ski.

ive done those.......they are easy except you have to go hella fast

i do them...they are really hard and i usually bust my ass...but when i stick one it looks hot. they arent too bad on like 10-15 foot shotgun rails or ez slide rails. you know what i saw that was sick as hell...on this little trap rail, i saw a kid ride up it, 360 over the flat and grease the bottom rail. pretty sick.

 
if you still dont know what a fastslide is, in stereotype, iannick's first slide across the trap rail, where he goes 1 footed on the top is a fastslide.

i dont know if it would be possible to do a real backslide with your back foot pointed forward. i've seen steele spence do a royale, but a backslide would be crazy.

yeah pollards nose press is so fuckin amazing. I guess he tried for a couple of hours to dial it. I tried cranking the din up on me bindings and tail pressing rails. its fuckin hard. nose press... 1000 times harder.

all i can say is armada skis better be bomb proof if their crew is starting to do nose presses and tail slides...imagine the extra stress being put on the skis, surely there are going to be alot breakages

i can't see them breaking from doing a nose or tailslide that easily, there would probably be just as much if not more stress on a ski if you land backseat off a table. They flex a lot and your not on a rail all that long when you grind anyway so i doubt that many if any would break from doing a nose slide or tailslide

i dont think you will break skiis from nose slides...i mean it can't be puttin more stress on the ski than doin tip stands....but it will prolly mess up your camber

andy stewart has been doing fastslides, backslides, unatty fast slides, and unatty backslides for years now on skis. he was doing them all on a 20 foot rail at calabougie peaks the other weekend... he was doing them on the scratch BC's....
