this fast.

Actually fun story for you...

Was ripping down to go home, was kind of pissed off cause the day did not go as planned

This lady looses her shit at me saying I was out of control (trust me I was in perfect control)

It got a little out of hand so I ignored her and skied away (mumbled fuck off) and I guess her husband herd me, he chased me down the hill jousting me with his pole I tried to take a sharp right and go up hill (so stupid I know) because I had my camera in my hand. The grappled on to me and started beating me with his ski pole until i pushed him off. I then chased him down to the chair and told the lifties to call ski patrol at the top, they did. The patrol was waiting at the top for him. He claimed he didn't beat me he gently tapped me. He got his pass suspended for 1 year, and for some reason I got mine suspended for a week.

Shit was whack

I always wondered how fast I was going when I strait lined runs.. must be at least 90-100km/h if you were going 130

I don't have numbers. All I know is that my skis we're flying around like crazy, my face hurt from the wind and my legs were numb after!

80 MPH sounds so scary. Must take a while to get to a complete stop from that, I'd be crapping myself if I went that fast.

Fast enough to scare my self ! Seriously I wanted to test my skis on high speed to see at which point they start vibrating. What actually scares is not really the speed but you start askin' yourself "and now if i fall what the f happens to me ?'

fastest I've ever clocked has been 62, but judging off that i know I've easily hit at least 80 on gs skis

clocked it this past season at 73mph, and that was the only time we had the GPS running. There was at least one occasion I know of that was definitely faster

I have only been clocked once and it was on a nastar course (I was bored and wanted to see how my jj's would do at GS) and was clocked at 45. But that really didnt seem fast so i am going to assume upwards of 65.

the fastest i can confirm was around 50, and i can only claim that for certain because i was being pulled by a snowmobile.

I actually kind of figured that out on some death cookies. I decided to straight line it to the park (not my best decision) ignoring that everything was rock solid, lots of moguls and ice chunks everywhere. I got going quite fast and then exploded. I tore off a good amount of skin on my arm and got a concussion. I don't think I will be able to straight line anything except for in runs for jumps in quite some time.

once borrowed a girls DH skis and strait lined the steepest run in Valle Nevado, Chile with a friend. I had my cel GPS and it recored 142 kph. He had a normal gps and he recorded 139 kph

that was fast

Probably 80-100 km, thats really not that fast, on an average groomer i probably do 50-60 just carving doing gs turns down the fall line.

Once I was going down a snowy hill,There was so many others near me but i was blowing them off because of my insane speed,

I passed everyone, but saw that there was a seal at the bottom hill,

I was actually a penguin,

I died.

I find it hard to believe the fastest skiers on world up downhill go about this fast with super well tuned skis and downhill suits on icy courses but meh I wasn't there

You may be the fastest skier on the mountain...

BUT I AM THE BEST SKIER ON THE MOUNTAIN AND ALWAYS WILL BE.

those guys are elite atheletes, with top notch gear you cant get in shops and 160+ flex boots, i had a pair of super stiff 182cm kastle carving skis, and at that speed its fucking hard to so much as lift your poles with the wind resistance, scariest bit was when i hit 135 and realised i have to try and stop now :p
