Fast spins . . .

look just as good as slow, floaty ones. would you REALLY prefer to see smooth cab 5s and 7s in comps? i'd take gagnier's 12 at the open any day. it was worth a year of cab 10s for skiing to reach where it is now.

i think that the jumps are big enough to spin faster then you would for a 5 or 7 and still make them look halfway decent. all you haters out there can just chill - so what if thats where the sport is going...

i like big spins, like 10s 12s and 14s (and bigger). i think spin to win is ok as long as it looks ok and the person goes high enough

yup, but to mix it up with long flowy small spins too, not just 14, 14, 12 ,14, just variety would be sweet.

agreed. not that many pros do them as good as they used to (remember when candide, crighton, and moseley did them?). pollard is one of the few people who gets the axis perfect these days. the 5 and 9 up the step-up in his HH video were sick.

Everything can look stylish, it's all in the execution. It's a over simplification to define style by the speed of a spin or the number of rotations.

I think we should all just go back to the days of helicopters and daffys. It would make life way easier.
