So my mom and i were filling out fasfa and she recently sold our house so she has all of the money from the house in her bank account. Does anyone know a way around this so we dont have to file all of this money on fasfa? Thanks a ton! k+ for response!
 
Spend it

Or hide it in another person's bank account (someone maybe related to you but not in your immediate family, obviously someone you can trust)

Or spend it, seriously, if you don't spend it they will make you use all that cash before loans and grants, if you spend it, then you start going loans and grants, and if you spend it the right way in say an investment, then boom, you can get your money back later
 
Why dont you just use the money from your house to pay for your school? Instead of just spending it..
 
FASFA is absolute bull shit. My Mom has been unemployed for over 2 years, she's divorced and my sister is also in college and I got nothing from FASFA
 
This, I'm adopted by my aunt who is divorced, and my birth Mother has mental disabilities and is not able to give support as well as my father not being in the picture. FAFSA told me I qualifiy for nothing
 
You did fafsa? shit i had a scholar shit for my freshman year of college then they changed it last year, and the forms and shit are sketchy as fuck. The government asking what is in my savings and my parents savings? I mean really. So i said fuck that ill pay for it. Did you have the same process
