Farting on the airplane

if you have a 12 hour flight and gotta rip ass but are trapped third row in the window seat is it acceptable to fart?

for one, you get gassier in the air because air pressure is lower and gas expands as air thins- so odds are there's a lot of people on the flight who need to fart but are trying to hold it in and be courteous.

for two, its not healthy to hold a fart in for 12 hours, who wants to feel bloated and constipated when they land for their vacation because they were holding their farts in?

So I ask you, is it okay to fart on the airplane? should we just put our differences aside and let our fellow cabin members let them loose in peace?

but sharts surely are the worst. One time driving to work I sharted myself in traffic and pulled off into a rest stop took my dress pants and underwear off, threw the underwear into the garbage put my pants back on and worked all day commando.

Seriously it causes some pretty messed up health issues. I had a work trip with a buddy and we ate mexican food and he tried to hold in his farts on a 4 hour flight and ended up passing out during landing and they had to bring in medical personal onto the plane to revive him at the gate. He was talking to the guys afterward and they said it was actually a pretty common call they get from people that hold in farts too long.

im wondering, when ppl shart don't they full well know they're risking it? like ive had to fart but I know I can't and gotta make it to a toilet instead otherwise its not just gonna be a fart. so like, I think the average Joe gotta hold themselves accountable for sharting. I get that some people can't control it so they get the pass; namely old ppl and babies.
