That latest thread about 'where's Shiest D' got me thinking - we always complain about how he's never had a long segment and argue about which one is best but it's not looking like we're ever going to get any new material from him. I'll put together a long-ass compilation segment from all of his old segments.

The only thing is, I've only got access to his parts from Stereotype, b-footy on Whiteshine, and a few random clips from the internet. So I need anyone who is interested to rip his parts from DVDs or whatever into .mov or .mpg and post them up on upload sites.

you should ask the guys who made his movies if you can use some of the shots, otherwise you might get into some copyright infringement business.

So far I've got Session 1242, Stereotype, Exact Science, WSKI, the B-footy from Whiteshine, and that 9th trailer that came out last year. So I really need Royalty, Salad Days... what else am I missing?

I think what I'm going to do is mix them all up into one big super-segment with new music (I'll post the tracks I'm thinking of using so you guys can vote them up or down), and also post all of the individual segments somewhere for everyone to get at as well.

DO NOT i repeat DO NOT put new music to them. Just make a superseg with all his stuff with the original segments. I dont understand putting new music to them. With the original segment, the music goes with the footage, it would be upsetting to see new music.
 
what are you talking about?

There would be nothing wrong with new tracks. I want new tracks actually.

If the footage is cut up into individual clips, you could easily edit to the music, and make a completley new edit. Why leave all the old tracks and watch the same shit over, with the same music, in the same order? The point is to make a new segment of all of mik's dopest shots.
 
yo, no worries man, I just sent you a PM, but I'll explain it to everyone else...

I'm going to have one file that is all of his segments complied into one folder so you can watch them all together in a playlist or just individually, and I'm also going to edit the best shots all together with new music, making kind of a 'best of' segment for Mik.

also, ATL brought up that there's a segment from High Life, so if anyone's got that hook me up. Thanks.
