All in the title. Are their spots skiers + snowboarders have been hitting, sharing -urbanwise- ?

Plus, I'd like to add that in most snowboard urban seg, I feel like the spots they're hitting are way insaner than in Ski. Don't get me wrong, I realize that some spots in ski are totally outstanding and I sometimes question the possibility of stomping but just a general overview, I think snowboarders hit bigger.

Just crossing my mind. I could be wrong though.

(I'm a skier)

Downtown SLC. SO many bangers.

It's unarguable that the most famous spot for handrails in skiing and snowboard is that Rail Gardens in Salt Lake City. Here's a pretty damn good guide by JP Walker and Transworld:

The rail labeled A (not pictured) and the gap on the right are probably the most famous/recogizable. I went to Utah in 2009 and spent an afternoon hitting the rails. There's almost no setup time and there are usually other people around.

All of the spots that were famous 5+ years ago, except the red ledge, are now just famous for being famous. Their fame just gets perpetuated every year and it doesn't even mean anything anymore.

Thanks for those you posted spots. Some I was aware of and others not !That last one is nike isn't it ? Pretty steep and the kink is pretty painful.

Nike actually remade a number of famous features and posted them up at Semour. They called the project "Greatest Hits" and it included the red ledge and the burlington dub kink I posted.

If I remember correctly, the red ledge was first hit by JP back in late 2001 or 2002 and the footage was in Happy Dayz. Matt walker and crew went back like 8 years later and he twosev'd the ledge. Snowboarders started hitting it sometime after JP. I'm pretty sure Simon Chamberlain hit it a few years ago but I can't remember too well.

Yeah, there are a ton of features there that get hit a lot. There are the ledges and the pyramid things at the Olympic Stadium. There's also a double kink downtown a few blocks from McGill that has a big drop on the left side and a weird green light cylinder close to the landing. We went there in 2003 and filmed it, that was the first time I've ever seen the rail but it has been hit a ton since then.

There was a full snowboard movie called "Montreal" a few years ago that was filmed entirely of Montreal urban.

BOTH the handrail behind the high school and the rail at Fort William Henry in Lake George, NY were hit by Liam Downey in Long Story Short. If you've been thru that town, you know what I mean.
