I used to loveeee family guy but i just felt like it started losing it's touch. just personal opinion though
 
I liked Family Guy when I first saw it... now I can barely stand it. Like, it has it's moment but it took the random "wtf is going on?!" of South Park WAY too far and just got really stupid.

South Park though is really the only one I watch and even then I rarely watch them.
 
All three. This is possible because they all come on at different times. I watch South Park from 10-11 then King of the hill at 11-12 then family guy 12-1 every night. BOOYA
Then I watch the Simpsons also. It's all good stuff.
 
agreed, simpsons as well. The simpsons have been around for so long that they have made fun of just about everything from every angle possible.
 
simpons, the original and best. south park, different type of humor and a little bit more intensefamily guy. Just seems like a rip off of the simpons and just isn't as funny to me.
 
used to be simpsons, but now i vote family guy #1. south park usually is hilarious but i don't watch much tv at all
 
ya family guy just doesnt have the fresh factor anymore. i feel like seth macfarlane is a total subservient to fox.

south park is the only social commentary though, and its fucking hilarious. best show hands down. the simpsons can toss my salad for real.

Anyone who doesnt think that The Simpsons in its prime was the best show ever is retarded.
 
I like family guy a lot, but does it annoy anyone else that every episode they have like 5 flashback scenes? lil over the top
 
Is Futurama not included in this discussion because there are no new episodes coming out for the foreseeable future?

you can't be serious...why? futurama is a spin-off of Simpsons. It set the foundation for that brand of humour. maybe my sarcasm meter just needs to be overhauled
 
When Simpsons were in their prime I was a younger kid and my parents wouldn't let me watch it and I would watch the Discovery Channel or History Channel. That is my excuse at least.
 
One of the things i hate most in this world is 14 year old kids who cant appreciate the comedic gold that was the simpsons during the 4th-10th seasons. South Park and Family Guy cannot compare...

All South Park and Family Guy do is find some pop culture topic, and then make retarded satire of it thats so fucking obvious a 3 year old could get the joke... family guy is worse in the sense that there is no plot and character development in the show, its just McFarlane using Brian to spout his views, and then making a bunch of retarded 80s pop culture references that arent even funny.

The Simpsons was intelligent, subtle, and fucking hilarious at the same time...

Futurama has been the closest thing there has been to old Simpsons, im stoked on it coming back...

simpsons lost a lot of its essence as shows surpassed it in its edginess and shit and it tried to keep up. But within the first ten years there is some serious genius in it that the more blatant, crude shows cannot match (and i love crude shit).

south park is pretty damn funny. save a few stinkers, the show kicks ass even though its style has changed considerably over 13 seasons. It needed the simpsons to open the door.

family guy just aint funny. period.
 
they're all too different to really compare. Simpsons is just a classic and paved the way for shows like it. South Park just attacks everything and is generally spot on, F-word is a great example of this. And family guy is just super random. I enjoy all of them though
 
Oh I know what you mean, I watch my seasons 4-11 boxsets all the time. After that it did lose a small portion of it's edge but you can't say it was hard to forsee after 20 years.
 
Simpsons when Conan still helped write episodes (Beer Baron anyone), South Park and I used to like Family Guy a few years ago when I would smoke occasionally, but now....meh.
 
South Park is now number 1 for me, but the Simpsons are simply priceless, the god to all cartoon shows to follow and they will always have my heart (no homo).
Family Guy does not even compare...
 
double posting, but yea... you are so right. The Simpsons just won't ever be appreciated by the next generations. I do think that South Park brings out some funny things in society and mocks them in a pretty damn funny way. Then Family Guy, well just watch South Park "Cartoon Wars" to get my opinion on that one.
