I like how when there's a Fallout Boy album leak people get all sad and pissed about it, but when 10,000 Days leaked everybody was stoked and it sold over twice what the next best selling album did when they did release it. And I agree with JackBach's statement: If you make the decision to listen to emo, the vikings will be comin' for ya. Mark my words, there will be pillaging, looting, and general chaos for all.
 
Hahaha. Holy Newsflash Batman! Some emo's are sad. I don't think Ive ever seen that before The one thing that helps me cope with this horrible dilemma, however, is my total lack of caring in any way shape or form, about Fallout boy. It really helps. IN fact, everyone should join me in not caring about Falloutboy, or pretty much any band shown on mtv for that matter.
 
thats funny because babyface,jay-z,young jeezy, and alot of other people in the music industry seem to respect them.

timbaland has them scheduled to be on his collab album

and kanye is set to remix a song from the new album.

i always post the latest leaks regardless of if i listen to it or not.. there are people that are glad i leaked it, and there are people that hate me for it.. so all the controversy about them being sad it leaked blah is where the who cares goes towards..

That list of artists didn't help your credibility or your argument one bit, with the exception of Timbaland, who I now have absolutely zero respect for.

Dude first off you need to understand something. Music getting leaked is axactly what a band wants. It just gives them attention that they want, because people like you are dumb enough to believe that someone leaked it outside of the band.

Did it ever occur to you that they leaked it themselves. Besides, that, bands dont make money off of CD's, they make their living off going on tour, so if an album is leaked it just means people are going to hear their songs a little sooner.

They also may have done that because they were unsure of how people would take their new album...so "the album got leaked" then they just see how many dl's they get and what the general concensus is on the new album, if its good they sell the same things, if people said it was shit then, they would go back and rework it. Not to mention it was most likely the record lablel or their producers idea, which in my opinion is pathetic producers because he's utilizing his ability to makes music, but make music for frat boys.

On the second note, you're list of rappers and haters is pretty funny man...oh yeah and did I mention it did nothing for your argument.

although in some cases, yes, a leak can help a band in the long run. fall out boy (who have sold over 2 million copies of their last disc) don't need hype that a leak can sometimes produce. once you can reach a certain level of sales, all that a leak will do is decrease your first week sales. it's not like alot of people who don't know about the band will discover them via a leak. instead, kids who would normally pay for the album get it online and have no reason to buy it.

also, when an artist makes an album, they want it to be presented as one unified package.

from the album art, to the arrangement of the booklet, and even the packaging. so when kids can just grab mp3's online, it fucks with how they want people to see the album.

also, if my list of people in the hip hop industry who have worked with/publically supported this band was not good enough.

i presented the fact that they have worked with alot of metal/hardcore bands.

actually pete used to front a hardcore band called "arma angelus"

if you don't like them, that is your opinion.

but i don't think you have any right to call them "talentless" or that they aren't musicians.

Yeah and its all really poorly produced music, hence why hardcore sucks. Hardcore kids have their hearts in the right place they just need to have their balls reattached.

all that i'm saying is maybe try to be a little more openminded, because you're completely buying into the emo stereotype, where there actually might be some good music.

technically you are right i shouldnt call them "leaks" but since they are available as mp3's before the cd in stores it still a leak to the general public. what you stated above is definitely correct.. Touring is the only way to make money these days.. even if i download my favorite bands music. i still go to shows and buy merch.

i have it preordered on vinyl and i intend on buying a copy in the store, so that i can get the live EP with it.

but, alot of people who wouldn't buy it otherwise will listen to it and,in turn, not buy it

actually i've seen TMV live 3 times.

i've also saw at the drive-in when they were still in existance.

please let me stress the point again that i do listen to a pretty good variety of music. i just like the sound of fall out boy and i think that they are extremely talented dudes.
