Fall Jams 08!

So, i was just wondering if there are any jams going down this fall. As far as i know, KB is planning to host theirs again, but as of right now there has been no talk of it. Does anyone know if any areas are planning to have some rail jams, and if so when/where?
 
Little Mtn. Sports host the Mentor Rail Jam Friday Sept 19th i Mentor Ohio at the town rec center diring some sort of local community festival. I judged it a few years back, it was very well done. A big HV hits it each year and you learn more at the HV forum about the deal and perhaps some ride share options. As of now KB hopes to have a jam at the Swap again, Nov. 7,8 and 9th but the details have not yet been laid down. I will report them here as the KB site is fairly static while I await the release of a fully new website in a few weeks.
 
Yea. You're going to have to wait a while on the whole KB rail jam. My cousin's finally running the park starting this year. From what I've been told, they're going to try and scrap alot of the rails they currently have and make new, better ones. The crew doesn't start full time for another couple of weeks, so hold tight for any news on rail jams and the park. Probably in October sometime.
 
no sir. he's shawn voit, a snowboarder. He was usually there during early morning and days last year, not really nights. He does do grooming and building and pretty much the whole deal, he just doesn't do much maintenance.

and that skier is high up the line too, he works closely with shawn.
 
that would be nice. kb needs to have a park that everyone likes. the bridge gives you guys so much room on that one run where you guys could have an ill park. just putting my 2 cents in since i used to ride there and all. haha i hope to see a lagit park when i come out there!
 
For your guys sake, I hope that you have a decent park this year.

If your cousin can motivate the crew and maintain things it will be good for you guys. If he allows the lazy mentality to continue, it will suck.
 
Oh, and the park last year was one of the worst I have experienced in a long time. The jump-line was horrible.

I'll check it out this year if I am back in Buffalo at all during the winter, though it's unlikely that will happen.
 
jams at pknpk the 11th and the 18t... there is also showings of the meatheads movie the 10th and the 11th at the depot in ellicottville
 
It's quite possible. I've always wanted to go to the pnp one. I've got to see if anyone at UB wants to drive down with me.
 
I totally dropped the ball on skiing nearly knee deep the past 2 days...

I should be banned from skiing due to my lack of dedication.
 
i think the movie that will be shown is the phatman team video Here and There.. its a nice little video with plenty of buffalo urban and few shots of KBs park which by some strange force of nature make KB look sort of good
 

if anyone wants it thats some video of the kb jam. i dunno who made or filmed it though. they missed all the action of the actual jam lol.
