From Halifax Martock is cheaper and closer. It's a pretty big shit show though, 4 runs so you spend all your time in the park. Even then the park is meh, because park staff just doesn't commit. Unfortunately the staff there are fucking pricks, my buddy got his seasons pass suspended for 2 weeks just for doing up his snowboard bindings on the t-bar. In the park it's very snowboard dominate, there's only one or two regular park skiers besides me and my buddy. Wentworth is the exact opposite though, super chill staff, mostly skiers, and relativity great park, and they sometimes have 2 or 3 open at once. Still not the biggest hill but has some decent terrain, enough to keep you entertained. Wentworth has some really fun glades and they do a great job of taking care of them (relativity tight trees at times with no brush) and they could care less if you duck into the trees at any part of the hill, unlike martock where they would pull your pass. I ski martock through the week because if you buy early enough a pass is something a bit over 100 bucks. But, I'm at Wentworth every decent weekend.
