Fall colors in the Yoop - New timelapse

wow. the movement in all of those shots were fantastic and the water and northern lights shots were amazing. great work!

That a was awesome! Makes me wanna go shoot some fall photos. I did notice some of the colors seemed a tiny bit over saturated.

Really well done! I loved it. The only thing I would say is think to yourself "why should this be a time lapse?" There were a few shots in there that had wonderful movement and compositions that would've been much stronger if you had shot them at 24p. The other thing is having shots with less than 24 frames per second in a timeline in which most shots are 24p is choppy and can be distracting. Other than that the footage was beautiful. Great job!

Nice work man, I'm gunna have to agree with the over saturated comment though. I know you were going for fall colors, but I think you have have over done it just a tad, especially in the sky. They seemed too blue to me, especially at :51-:57, seemed like a pretty cloudy day and that sky just stood out a little too much. Let the yellows, orange, red in the trees stand out instead of the blue of the sky.

Also,

~1:00-1:06 - try and get exposure the same for each shot, I know it's hard with light changing

my favorite shots were of the creek at ~1:20-1:30

Keep up the good work man!

thanks man

i agree i did purposely up the saturation, and knowingly so i did it a little too much.

i had troubles with exposure because of the weather, so there wasn't much i could do besides going back, and most of these are a bit of drive from my school

That was fantastic.

I sometimes get tired of cameras on sliders, but this one was done well. It had direction, rather than moving for no reason.

Just use ML depending on what camera you have..

And that was sick as fuck.. i loved the movement in the shots

Pretty sick man, the only shot I found that I didn't really like was that moon shot. I think you should have taken photos more often because it didn't look very natural and I think I would have liked it more if it was a bit slower. But I loved the rest of the video, and the slider really helps make things a bit more interesting to watch!

i agree with the moon. it was in my front yard and really wasnt setup correctly for it. but thanks for the advice and im stoked on all the feedback!
