ok heres my spin on this. skiers hit jumps forwards so there is no such thing as backside and frontside that only applies to boarders as they hit jumps side on cos of there stance right. skiers use leftside and rightside for spins or natural unatural whateva of those tickles your fancy. switch is used for skiers hitting jumps for sure. its allready been said. switch 9 sounds better than fakie 9 and fakie is used in the pipe when landing switch... eg. air to fakie hopefully that kinda made sence but oh well. im out

its switch...its the closest we have to everything else. cause you cant realy ski cab...thats only for tricks..and fakie technically means switch nollie stance...and you cant ride switch nollie in skiing

I usually say switch but I use cab sometimes. Especially for switch 180's I say half cab a lot instead. No matter what you say, an educated newschooler will know what you mean. It's all about personal preference.
i say switch, and for some reason a kid here says "cab" is switch unnatual which would be cool but its not

Skiers should never say cab. Cab is a skateboarding term that is very specific. It comes from Steve Cabellero and its popping off your tail going fakie and spinning frontside. Its a term that shouldnt be used and everyone that uses it sounds ignorant.
excelent point, so no skier use of cab, sounds offical to me
