since every one is complaining about people wrecking the lip i had a dumb idea why not make a lip otta snow flex or just reinforce it with somthing that hold snow it would have some there would be a couple flaws like u could't carve on the lip and shit!

 
It would be hard to create a transition, between the snow and snowflex. I never skied on snowflex but I would rather land on snow when I case the landings. I think just learn how to use the pipe and let it stay good!

It'd probably be too weird... that stuff is never the same as snow. I think the best bet is to have good park techs that will fix the lip after it's broken. then it's good shape and it's all made of snow.

make like a long lip outa the stuff for the length of the jump or w/e not the whole jump but the lip itself would be an ok idea

i used to use hay bales at tali to extend the lips when the park techs there sucked ass by making the table too big for the lip. it was all good until i got my pass clipped

or the ski patrollers could just re-iniforce the rule that no one with rentals can go in the park!

people that doen't know how to ski shouldn't be allowed go in the park period, its so stupid when they go up to the biggest jump in the park going like 2km an hour and not get any air, just say they went off the biggest jump, same with people that can't ski and go on double blacks, they just get in the way, i mean wahts the point on going down the steepest run if you can't ski, your just going to ruin it for the rest of us

snowflex might force you to pop earlier otherwise the greater friction at the top would slow you down major and your air would suck

I think that would kind of defeat the purpose of going to the snow to jump. I would rather deal with a less than perfect snow takeoff rather than snow flex.

 
this fake lip idea woulb possibly work for about a day...then the snow would melt, and you would be left with a fake lip, then a drop, then snow.

 
Oh yeah, good think from like end of december to end of feb in Maine everything is rock solid, so the lips cant get damaged.
