Fake Cheque Fraud - Watch Out

Okay this is what happened to me today.There is this guy on a facebook groups where people make adds of their items for sale.

This guy posts a pile of money and says to contact him to know how to make some.

I contact him and he talks to me like i knew him for a long time and he explains me this:

-I meet him near my bank

-I give him my debit card and my nip. My account has only 5$ in it.

-He has connections and he is able to make real good fake cheques.

-He goes to the bank and deposit the cheque.

-He then take out all of the cash of my bank after the cheque has been deposited.

-He goes back out and gives me half of the money he and his troop made.

-I go in an other city the next day and talk to a cashier telling them that i have lost my debit card and i wanted a new one.

Here is where i stopped the game and thought about FRAUD.

Would it have worked out?

Would i've had a penalty?

What could i have had?

Fraud is so scary and i just want to know what would have happened to me if i had stepped into the game.

Well i thought i'd share this story so it will not happen anymore, evermore..

 
That just sounds retarded. I would've respected you more if you said a Nigerian Prince urgently needed your help. Cause at least in that case you probably weren't gonna be physically assaulted and butt raped. Before and after you enter jail for fraud.
 
i had a hard time reading that but, i think you are saying some guy cleans out your bank account you then claim your card was stolen so you want them to refund the money. there 3 problems with this.

1. they used a fake check to take your money out that's not from a a debt card.

2. they look into that and they don't just go o ok here's all your money back and this story already sounds strange.

3. fake checks can be traced they will have him on video he'll be pretty easy to track down.

4. if this does come back to you you sir are looking at a lot of jail time don't fuck with the industry of money.
 
tangent. someone i know was once selling something on craigslist. a man from florida calls him and says he wants to buy said item and will pay to have it shipped, next thing he was asking for his credit card number, ss, name and address, luckily i was there with my buddy and took his phone before he said anything and explained it to him. like damn how dumb can you be
