today I was driving the 2 hour drive from my school to home. about half an hour from home, I realized I was gonna run out of gas. so I stopped at a gas station, and wouldn't you know it, my debit card expired today and I had no cash.

so I had no choice but to ask a random guy filling up his truck if he could spare a buck so I could get home. he put the nozzle in my car, and gave me 20 bucks worth of gas!

now I get kinda bummed sometimes cause theres so much hate and ignorance in the world, but the compassion of complete strangers never ceases to amaze me. random people have gone out of their way to help me out so many times. consequently I always try to help people out and give them the benefit of the doubt when they ask for money.

last season at stowe me and my friend didnt really have much money to buy food(stowes fucking expensive) so we grabed some free crackers and asked for a cup to fill with water and some guy felt bad i guess and gave us 10$ for food and said pass it on. it was pretty sweet
