Failing final exams

yeah, so migraines suck and this is the worst one ive ever had in my life. so yeah, i don't know what else to say but im gonna fail a lot of my finals(I've had this one migrianes for about 3.5 weeks, except it's just getting worse).

so, How are you failing your exams? Include reasons for not studying except being too lazy.

i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc

Imagine the ns outcry if u(lateralis) were banned. There would be countless threads and petitions to bring u back, it would be like when treadway got banned from whistler. Someone would probably make and sell 'Free Lateralis' stickers and shit. -j
 
no, it's a migraine, or at least that's what over 5 doctors have told me. I have had one that lasted for 4 months, but the pain was constantly bad, it would kinda almost go away, but I could still feel it.

i fail cause i have junioristis is swear to god its worse than senioritis. im really sick of all this testing and shit so i just count my ducks and go through the motions

 
i doubt it stress related....my bro gets the same things....doctors dont know what it is but basically u gte them from your geans......i bet either your mom or dad had the same problem when they were younger...you will eventually grow out of it...

anathema, at least you can study, i just blow off studying and do other stuff. its worked for me so far but i doubt it will work for finals

best way to go in high school is keep your grades up high enough during the semester that you can seriously bomb your finals and still have the grade you want.

I do the same thing in college ^. I don't do it so I can bomb my finals but I do it so I don't have to freak out about them. If I fuck up on the final it doesn't matter because my grades were so good the rest of the semester.

 
that doesnt work at my school... all As and an F will get you a B in the class... thanks to block scheduleing

 
all i know is that finals are next week, i have studied ZERO and probably wont, and i already got a D on my biology midterm earlier in the year... so im glad i have good grades now so that when i do terrible on finals it wont hurt THAT much.

 
mine are n 3 weeks and im alredy screwed, my teacher in science is so behind rite now were not even done what we were susposed to be finished last quarter and that was a month ago! he just talks about random shit that none cares about

my strategy is to just not care about them. i put this into effect that last month of the semester this year, didnt really study for any tests, just kinda wrote whatever came to my mind on every paper and essay, and studied maybe a total of an hour for 4 finals. i ended up with 3 a's and 2 b's. so basically, just dont stress over stuff and you'll do much better, as long as you almost paid attention in class.

That's plenty of time to study/cram and figure out enough to get through with at least b's.

 
i failed my french midterm b/c we had to speak for ten straight minutes in french about anything we wanted and i couldnt think of jack shit so i just spoke about france in english which was stupid but it was the best i could do

i got an 89 on my history final, a 92 on my english final, and i somehow managed to pull an 81 on my calc final. i don't understand what happened. i got 93+ on every test this year
 
I had a girl sleep over the night before my 2 hour Finance exam. I woke up with 20 minutes left to take the exam the next day. I failed the shit out it

Dude, i would go to the hospital... i migraine for 3.5 weeks? thats pretty bad. or at least get some really powerful painkillers. but it'll probably make you fail even harder
 
Cinco De Mayo last year. MA-342 Numerical Computing and MA-301Foundations of Mathematics test the next day back to back one at 8 one at 10. Went out and raged like none other did not even study at all. Woke up the next day at 6 with my girl in the morning biked to school to start looking at all the numbers, groups, sets, exponential sine functions and was like oh yeah i got this. Took the test d on one c on the other still one of my favorite nights of my life. Oh i usually fail at least one final every set of finals ha ha but it does not affect my grades......here is the secret to those of you in college in getting B's on your courses.Bust your ass throughout the semester enough so that when it comes to finals week it does not matter.

im just glad i pulled off a 91 average this term because it will help a lot with colleges
 
we need to pass out midterms/finals with a grade of 70 or higher to graduate starting this year... So I can't fail any of my exams.
 
I don't fail my exams.
98% average across the board on all of my midterms.
I plan on the same for Final Exams.
 
All of my classes are AP....which I've heard don't really mean shit in college, so I've done all this hard work...for nothing....
 
Depends where you apply. Some colleges give you lots of hours for APs depending on you scores on the test(Duh). so I don't see how getting out of a bunch of classes in college is a waste of time unless you're only applying to colleges that don't accept AP scores.
 
it varies but AP classes are certainly not a waste of time. i got out of some really stupid classes in college cause of APs
 
It will help with getting accepted, but if you had to try to get a 91 average in high school, good fucking luck next year. I easily got a 92 average in my senior year of high school and now I'm failing Chem and Calc, while getting 65 in physics and 70 in bio...
 
was that at public school? i go to a new england prep school that's competitive as fuck and difficult academically. 92 average is high honors there that only like 30 kids get

i'm fully aware that college will be a struggle, especially since i'm gonna be rowing the whole time, but i don't plan on taking chem, calc, physics, and bio in the same semester. in fact i won't ever take any of those classes except maybe calc. that just sounds miserable
 
I'm just wondering... Does your public school follow the same curriculum and take the same state test exams as public schools, or is it different?
 
no not at all, we do completely our own thing. the only tests we take are SAT's. our curriculum is solely dependent on the teacher's choice and experience for each specific class, even math
 
I had a 2.8 GPA in high school, and have a 3.85 GPA 2 years into college as Bio pre-med major. If you want to do well, just gotta study more, not hard.
