Fading in slow motion

just wondering how you can slowly bring in slow motion on a clip. i edit with premiere pro cc just wondering how you guys do it. instead of the whole clip being slow motion how do you only do parts and have it slowly bring the slow mo in.

i think the term you are looking for is "speed ramping"

I do not know on premiere but a simple google search will do the trick

Right click on clip, show keyframes, speed.

Pen tool (P), click where you want it to come in and out. Drag it down to the speed you want in between the keyframes. Drag the two sliders to how fast/slow it transitions from 100% to 40% (if you're working with 60fps footage)
