factions who?

does anyone ride factions or know anything about them? such as are they any good? and how do they compare to other skis? everyone bitches about armada and 4front, but where r factions at?

so what is the benifit of having a full vertical side wall oposed to armadas i think 33deg. side wall?

Vertical sidewalls are easier to fix, make it easier to sharpen the edges, and they put more weight on the edges while carving.

 
i have a pair of factions - rode them for about two months in france last season.

They are very soft in the nose - perfect as a pow ski for me (5 7) but not much pop and low tail kick. as a powder ski they were amazing, and i know they have changed the constuction this year so they should stiffen up a bit.

i love em.

Factions are so dope! I was in Val last year and rode something called Tuesday or Wednesday or something. A little soft but a sweet ride. Wish they came in a more ladylike size.

I think next to Liberty Skis, Factions are the most sick.

 
dude I just checked out their site for the first time...and the skis look sick...I am def interested in getting a pair of these

I promoted my CVS and Stop and Shop card from the inside slits to the outside ones...my Blockbuster and gym ID got pissed off, but I told them, sorry guys, laminated plastics just can't cut it in the big leagues

They look like great skis, a little on the expensive side though, but hey, whatever floats your boat. But then again, pow skis are getting expensive.

169 are only 470, 178 are only 520 less than 4frnt and armada and the skis are made with better quality materials.

ya but whatabout shipping from europe? that probably evans out the price with the 4frnts and the armadas. i am very interested in the wednesdays though! might be able to get some this year.
