I've been looking to get into more pow riding since i have recently moved to the PNW. I initially thought of 4frnt CRJ's since 4frnts have generally worked out pretty well for me in the past. I was talking to a local dealer and he is offering me a pretty sweet deal on some Faction Royals. I've never ridden factions (or any rockered ski for that matter) and I cant find much about them online as far as reviews.

anyone ever ride a pair? how do they perform in trees/cliffs/deep pow?
 
Faction is legit.

I haven't skied them, I was interested back in the day, but the length wasn't all that tall.

I am not much of a help, but they seem like sick skis.
 
one of my buddies has them, the are extremely stiff, and seem like a sick ski, but he is also 6'3'' 240 lbs, so they seem like a burly ski for a bigger guy to me, but he skis them here in new england, so......hope that helps a bit!
 
Royales is where its at. They are a super playful ski in blower pow but they still stiff enough to hold it on a gnarly windblown chute.
 
in fact i am selling mine so PM me if you interested, i have already had an offer of $800 so im only gonna go up from there
 
Thanks for the offer, but im able to get pretty good hookup (dunno how its possible).

and also thanks for the input. seem like a great ski. Although why are you selling them?
 
haven't ridden them, but I do know that their factory is based in Verbier, CH. I can attest this is a sick spot and those skis must rip if they can hold up there. support the small companies as well
