Faction Prodigy 4.0 mount point both 19/20 and 20/21

Hey anyone have any experience with where to mount both the new version(20/21) and old version(18-20)?

The new version’s mount point is -9.5cm and the older version is -7ish.

Everyone on the team seems to go really far forward, like -2 to -3. Not sure I want to go that far
 
As you said, team go -2/-3/ I mostly skied the new one at -2cm. I tried -4cm and that still felt ok if you like a more traditional feel, but I like the more pivot-y feeling of -2cm more. [tag=119683]@TheWeaz[/tag] is reviewing a pair right now, not sure where he mounted them but he might be able to weigh in.

For the '18-20 model, I only skied them at -2cm but I'd recommend that. I wouldn't go much further back since they have a lot of tail rocker, more than the new ski, and I find that kind of shape can get a bit wheelie prone if you mount at more traditional mounting points.
 
I mounted my review pair at -6cm, absolutely do not mount then at the recommended line of -9 unless you really like traditional feeling skis. I really don’t know why the rec line is so far back for a ski that’s a twin tip and they are pushing as pretty jib friendly.

I like them at -6 but I ski pretty much all my skis between 5-6cm back so I’m used to being a little further back than most newschoolers skiers. I could definitely see going even further forward especially if your looking for easier nose butters, spins, etc.
 
Cool, the freestyle lines are +3cm further forward so -4cm and -6ish. Those both sound good to me as I’m also a big fan of the -5 to -6 mount point.

Sam Anthamatten told me he goes +2cm forward on the 2021, but I’m unsure if thats from the freestyle line or the rec line. I dont get how the line is so far back with that much tail rocker, they must feels pretty odd at recommended.
 
If you like 5-6 cm behind center mounts you will be happy with either of those on the 21 prodigy. Like I said I’ve been at -6 and haven’t noticed anything weird with being mounted away from recommended.

Seriously stupid question, but did you go +3cm from the line or measure out true center and go -6cm back?

I measured from center, I’ve seen recommended lines be pretty far off from eachother, marks on the sidewall tend to be more reliable than lines on the topsheet.
