Faction CT 1.0 vs 2.0

So I have been looking at Faction Ct series for my first pair of skis. I am intermediate/advanced and 6'1 160. I ski resorts like Big Boulder and Mountain Creek with the occasional vermont trip. I do about equal amount park and groomers. Will the 1.0 be able handle everything or should I go for the 2.0? I ski a lot of ice usually.

I like the 2.0 more for groomers and the occasional park skiing that i do. I ski in new england, and can confidently say the 2.0 is great on ice. It is up to the skier's ability at that point.

Then again, I can ski the CT 5.0 on ice and it carves like a beast.

You sir are a freak of nature!

If you're going to be skiing equal parts groomers and park I'll be a real dick here and recommend the Prodigy 2.0. It comes in at 98mm underfoot and skis really well all over the mountain with its directional cut. That being said, if you're set on the CT series, you can't go wrong with the CT 2.0

I skied the Prodigy 2.0 all last season in Ontario and it was super fun. Held a great edge on ice and ripped all over.

Ok, I'm now looking in the prodigy 1.0 as the ski. Fo you think the 2.0 can handle the ice ok?

Prodigy 2.0 got a redesign for this year and it’s sooo much better. Torsional rigidity is vastly improved :) new waist width makes it more capable all around!
