How come faction has so many insane athletes? Candide Thovex, Antti Ollila, Andrew Pollard, Will Berman, Tim McChesney, Alex Hall. How did they manage to get so much talent on their team? [tag=40642]@Faction[/tag]

when faction was on the come up a lot of the bigger brands were dramatically shrinking their park ski lineup and weren't sponsoring any riders anymore

they're based in europe where it's probably a lot easier to make connections with top ski industry people, and they made sick af edits which just kept the ball rolling

I know he doesn't film anymore but you forgot Adam Delorme

I'm just curious to see what their future is. I feel like I see a lot fewer pairs of factions in the park than I did three or four seasons ago. I guess they all just broke lmao

Honestly pretty much every team is pretty stacked now days, theres a lot of really fucking good skiers out there

Eh I like my cts a lot. I only put like 15 days on em but those were filled with a lot of butters and slamming on rails and tweaking nose. The topsheets do chip a lot but apparently they fixed that with the newer models

They completely changed their build for their 2021 skis. My prodigy 2.0's still going strong.

Rossignol got rid of their park riders such as Parker White and the rest of the guys from Big Picture; just like Salomon and Atomic got rid of all their park riders except for a very seldom few. Jonah Williams and Nicky Keefer are Atomics team and Salomon had Bobby Brown till he left hahaha. That's three of the biggest brands in skiing saying fuck you to park skier's. Therefore in return no one should be supporting those brands.

He might be one of the few left. As far as those brands they cut the majority of their team and don't do shit for any park driven athletes. Can't even name 5 relevant skier's representing each of those brands besides guys that are on their way out such as Parker white, Chris logan who doesn't ski much anymore etc.
 
For sure and ironically I went to his IG last night and I’m not sure if he ever had Rossi in his profile (think he did) but there’s no tag or mention of him riding for them which is odd if you’re skiing for such a big company. Totally on brand for him though lol

Man I understand where Faction gets this rep from. The 17/18 line of CT had a problem with snapping, I think I went through 3 pairs. But ever since 2018 they have changed the core and that problem stopped. I get why people have this sour taste in their mouth when it comes to their skis, but they were very good about warrantying every pair that broke no questions asked and also improved their core the next year and eradicated the problem.
