Faction 2.0 touring set up?

So I have an old pair of factions 2.0's lying around that I don't use, they are the 2015 model in 184cm and i've been given some look touring bindings for free so considering matching these together, i've wanted something to tour on for a while but haven't had the spare cash to do so this seems a good fit especially as I wont be doing heaps of it anyway.

But i'm wondering if anyone has ever used the 2.0's for touring and some advice on where to mount them for this use?

Thanks

On one hand, these seem like a great touring option due to the weight. OTOH at 102mm under foot they're obviously not gonna perform that well in deep snow, and it's not a ski I'd want to be on in really rough terrain-- particularly if it's crusted or icy-- because Candides don't have much edge hold. That said, if you're touring in not very deep snow and not skiing super technical terrain this is a perfectly good setup. Assuming they have both "freeride" and "Candide" mounting points, I'd go freeride.

How often are you going to tour on them and what type of touring will you be doing? Personally, I would pick a different ski for touring for a myriad of reasons, but I'll let you answer my question first.

Not 100% on how much use really, depends on how I get on as I haven't done any before. Type of touring will be fairly relaxed, nothing serious, more as a form of exercise in the early mornings/late afternoons than anything. Just would like to recycle and reuse the ski and seen as I have a free binding, just wanted some info on if it had ever been done before by anyone, also i'm in europe.

I mean, there's better touring setups out there, but it'll certainly work. You can always get a better touring ski down the line and resuse the bindings
