Facebook people who call themselves photographers

heres a guy that makes me fucking angry. The kid sucks balls at photo, shoots on auto and constantly provides horrible pictures. what I hate about him... fucking kid is constantly shooting contracts in photo and video. his video stuff is even worst garbage than this yet, the fucking guy got to do a shoot on red epic. WTF?

I dunno, this example here is actualy a good photo. it actualy has a subtle reference to the american flag. this in a photo series about american life could be great.
 
I do believe that the post was a jest, to be quite frank. Such a sick photo, I didn't even realize the flag part of it.
 
I'm lucky enough to be friends with several talented photographers, but there are a few.,.. Also the trashy girls who cover the pictures of themselves in word art and shit
 
It makes me uncomfortable to know that so many of you find it entertaining to make fun of other peoples artwork.

People can call themselves whatever they want. Why do you give a shit.

I think most of the entertainment has come from people's obscene watermarks. Enjoy your hobby fine but when you do that it says you're a professional whose work can't be shared because it's so amazing and frankly most of these people are amateur at best. Enjoy your hobby but they shouldn't claim to be professionals when they aren't.
 
found an other one today, all of her shit has shutter speed that is far too slow. she shoots with a 5D and takes her self seriously even though she cant produce a sharp picture to save her life.

If a bunch of kids came to the ski hill who couldnt ski for shit, and said they were pro, would you make fun of them? Probably.
 
I'm alright with people taking pictures and enjoying it, it's just the ones who take it way too seriously for what they're actually doing.

You're taking a picture of a friend in a weird position to put on facebook. You don't need a watermark, literally no one is going to steal that.
 
This photo is actually really strong and captivating, so many different reads can come from this that comment on so many different levels within art and art history.

But the question is did the "photographer" try to create exactly that or was is a lucky accident?
