Just read this as a status update on facebook . . . BTW: this kid is always talking about skiing and all the "moves" he can do
"skiing today was a lot of fun! except my entire body hurts from falling. oh well. first times of the season are like that i guess. i cant wait til the freestyle track opens!"
I know this isn't the first thread of its kind but even with all the epic gaper quotes on this site "freestyle track" was completely new to me.
 
i cant wait til my local track opens so i can go pull some sick moves

maybe even ride backwards a little bit this year
 
These gaperisms remind me of the only time I've acutally seen this kid on the mountain (it's a really small hill so you pretty much see all the regulars everday you're up). I saw him clicking in . . . . or trying to click into his twins (he's thinks he's the bee's steeze so he probably told his rich parents to but him some even though he should be on rental skis), and he sticks his toe in the heel piece of one of his skis and tries to click in! He shoved his foot into his backwards ski like three times before he figured it out. Ridiculous.
 
Who fucking cares? The kid is skiing and enjoying it even if his way of describing it is "gaper" in fashion. All that matters is there is another skier that is enjoying themselves. Fuck off with your elitist attitude for people using "improper" terminology.

who cares if hes a gaper, he skis so let him have fun. and even if he calls a trick a cork spinney thing does he have to know all the names to tricks or to any tricks. why do you guys care?
 
in my opinion 99% of all gapers are lame as fuck and annoying as hell. So go ahead, shit on them all you want.
 
Well I guess if buying and wearing whatever outerwear I like and find visually appealing makes me a poser than I'm as poser as they come.

For this thread it is fucking true.

I am sick and tired of this entitled opinion a lot of NS has of itself to try and deem what is "cool" and what is "gaper". The kid is skiing and enjoying himself. Who FUCKING CARES if he is messing up some of the goddamn lingo?! The kid is obviously having fun and enjoys this aspect of the support and eventually he will probably learn of NS, come here, and learn even more about the sport.

So to the OP. Get your head out of your ass and realize that you too were once the dumbass kid that everyone made fun of. Go buy another Jiberish sweatshirt or two with mommy's credit card you fucking moron.

this thread reminds me of the 5th grade when tony hawk was huge and everyone had a tony hawk deck and everyone called each other posers because of the shoes and skateboards they had
