Face mask recommendations.

Nah, the expedition hood, it's a few bucks more. There isn't to much of a difference between the hood and the exp hood, it's just a bit warmer and water resistant.

i love my smartwool face mask, only one i’ve ever had that doesn’t get wet and soggy after a full day of skiing and never gets smelly, on trips where i can’t dry my stuff with a heater you just hang it up anywhere that has decent airflow and it dries automagically

I have one of these as well. Works pretty good. Onsale

Doesn’t get better than blackstrap, although I got an armada one last season that’s really nice as well. You can also find really cheap fleece ones on Amazon that work well for the extremely cold days/nights, sometimes a gamble but they’re cheap

The Le Bent 260 balaclava is my personal favorite, and I've tried every brand you can think of. The mouth area has a breathable port but without having holes that actually go all the way through to your face. My goggs never fog even when pulled over my nose.
