Eyes Wide Open.... JO skis

Just watched Eyes Wide Open again and noticed that Jon Olsson's skis are blank- plain white topsheet, plain black bases....

... anyone know why?

Those skis were prototype test skis without the graphic. Head gave him those skis so he could try them out, see if they were any good. And I believe this thread belongs to gear talk, but whatever.
 
I believe he was trying to respond the answer he recieved, and then went on to reply to the statement that this thread had been created in the incorrect forum.
