i got mine almost 2 years ago. they put in a 14G ring and then after a month i had a 14G barbell put in

Nice, did it bruise bad? Or did it get infected or anything? I've heard I should wash it daily with salt water?

it was a pain to keep clean and started growing out after 2 years so I took it out. I'm told all eyebrow piercings eventually reject, but if you get it re-pierced you'll be fine.

any peircing can reject. I had a 14G hoop, and never changed it, I eventually took it out when I had to testify in court, and never bothered to put it back in. It was pretty easy to clean (I used liquid dial at first, and then just shampoo when it was healed), and I never had any infections or problems with bruising.

to clean it just get some anti-bacterial soap and make sure you work it into the piercing with warm water. my piercer told my to do it 2-3 times a day but i did it about 4-5 times/day and it healed up in about a month

They sound like a lot of work! Worth it? So basically get the soap or whatever in the piercing a few times a day should let it heal up well and keep it uninfected.

so many people I know have had eyebrow piercings and I think they are super lame cause they always get puss-ie and infected.

Its not that the piercing is rejected. Eyebrow piercings are through only skin. and since our skin is constantly renewing and shedding they always grow out, some take longer than others.

yeah, but if you take it out and let it heal before it gets too far, then you can re-pierce it through or behind the scar and it will stay.

one of my friends had to take his out for a lacrosse game and had trouble getting it in the next morning because it closed up alot.

Even with the changing of the guard, the new generation entering the workplace and people becoming more lenient. The workplace is and pretty much always will look down upon piercings and tatoos (visible ones) i only have my ears done 4 in the left 3 in the right, i have not stretched them and when i take them out no one knows the better. Trust me I have worked professional jobs for the past 6 years and they are looked down upon even when the ring or barbell is out the holes are still visible. Tongue piercings are the worst because it does affect your speech and when working you must verbally communicate and it does become visible. This is just a word of advice.

however, more and more the corprate world is acknowledging a change in culture, when I got my job (which I have had for 4 years now) I went into my interview with all my earings (5 left, 3 right - most midly streched) and my eyebrow ring in. I also told them about my tatoos as well and I still got the job. Granted, people will always have pre-concieved notions about things like tatoos and peircings, but since they are becoming more and more mainstream, the public opinions are changing (and its about time).

Personally, I wouldn't want to work for someone that judged me based on peircings and tatoos, I'm all set working in such a closed minded environment, there is always another job available, you just have to find it.

I'm not doing it to be different, people that do things only to be different still care about what others think. I'm doing it because I like the way they look, I think it'd be weird to have some metal sticking through my eyebrow :)

i know this chick who got a black eye after getting hers done. after i get my collarbones finished this weekend i think i am going to get a vertical tragus. tragus piercings are sick, and crossed industrials.

what's a tragus? I couldn't pierce my collarbones, they're a mess, no room, it's all re-calciumated bone there :P

tragus is that little nub on teh front of your ear by your head. but i am not getting it pierced through it but vertically

i wanna get my tattoo.. supposedly me and 2 of the girls I live with all wanna get them but they keep coming up with excuses so I think one day im just gunna go get my own. Im a fan of piercings. I have 10G in my ears right now, I was up to 6 before Xmas but then my family freaked so now im back to 10. OH WELL!

Boys get ready.. Hells about to freeze over and the blue and white are gunna take the CUP!! Stanleys coming home!

did it in a cancun bar, wore it a few months and ditched it. never took any special care of it, never got infected. its been out a few months now. no real sign of it but a small dot under my eyebrow.

This may be the Generation that will have to face the End of the world.

if u do get it done though, don't put a ring in it get a barbell, those are sick. i wanna get my nose peirced, how are those? do they really hurt?and a they a problem to take care of. yeah that was off subject kind of but hey why not ask?

if you're gonna do it get two parallel bars right next to each other....that shit looks fat and it isn't exactly the same as every other sheep who gets his/her eyebrow pierced. another cool piercing (this really hot chick i know has it) is a stud through her labret (under the lower lip) and a barbell through her lower lip. soooooooo hot
