Eye Trip/Revolver Digital Download.

Good one! glad to see your dreaming about the things you would do to another male.

Atleast the posters before could hold a decent argument/discussion..jesus christ you need to work on your shit talking man

a little bit of overreaction going down in this thread. It's true, torrenting ski movies is some screwed up shit and is criminal as well as just plain wrong, but guys, come on, we're not literally going to murder anyone over torrenting a ski movie, are we?

They've made their points and I'm agreeing with them by hating on you. So anything I say is in arugument of what you were talking about with the others. Oh and nice way to quote that little piece of my paragraph and making yourself look even more childish by making a homosexual joke. Go somewhere else, like off a cliff or something

Dont you understand? Freeballin' is no way supporting the torrentning of ski-movies but merely pointing out that there will always be people who are not going to pay for them. I think you need to chill by looking at your previous posts. You just threatened to kill somebody on an Internet forum which does not boost your integrity.

Torrenting ski movies is just wrong. It doesn't make sense. If you're going to be a skier, you have to buy the movies. Or don't watch them, either one.

Dates on Eye Trip and Revovlver Itunes?? Also will Work it Out be on Itunes? What about NetWOrk?

I've got an itunes gift card....gonna load up on the new flicks!

yeah i hope more than just eye trip and revolver are on itunes. just cause i want to see network and shit but dont have the funds to be buying 4 or 5 DVDs. not anymore..

ill just bump this thread isntead of making my own.

i have the choice to buy 1 of 2 ski movies,

-Eye Trip

-Revolver

does anyone have opinions, anything? which one is better

I'm having the exact same dilemma. I just bought Come Find Us and was thinking about picking up one of these movies, but I'm not sure which one. Kinda leaning toward Revolver at this point just based on the trailers.

ya pow is so gay.

YOU ARE RETARDED and dont deserve to be on this site.

any skier would/should give up pow for park anyday

Yeah I have payed for every movie I have seen, and if it was for free it's because the production company released it for free. I support the ski industry because it isn't the biggest and they need all the help they can get. So GTFO now.

yeah, you should just stay on the groomed stuff. powder isn't fun to ski at all... so just stay away from it.

So... no dates for Eye Trip yet?? I'm trying to decided whether to buy this shit on blue ray or get it on iTunes...some info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Wow...FUCK YOU!

Seriously though, you deserve a swift blow to the head. Don't bother calling yourself a skier or saying that you care about this sport at all, because you clearly don't. People like you are theiving the progression and livlihood of our sport, and you deserve whatever bad shit comes your way. I wish I could rate you less than 0.

To reiterate...FUCK YOURSELF

Holy shitstorm. Let's straighten a few things out.

There are plenty of people who I would consider "skiers" who have never purchased any sort of ski movie. Skiers aren't skiers because they buy things from the ski industry, they are skiers because they go skiing.

There is a small but crucial difference that nobody seems to be looking at in this thread--one can care about going skiing without caring to support the ski industry. Brand loyalty or resorts are unnecessary to enjoy, love, and care about the activity and benefits of going skiing. I know backcountry skiers who aren't dedicated to one brand, don't use resorts, and are certainly as passionate about powder as any brand loyal person who's never skied without a chairlift.

The reason that ski movies should not be torrented is also more complex than anyone has yet cared to mention. Ski movies, aside from being merely entertaining, like something you'd go to see by Dreamworks or Universal or whatever, are part of our ski culture. Also, the ski flicks that NS cares about tend to be created by smallish, independently run companies that don't have much in the way of funding. People that torrent ski movies are taking advantage of the cultural benefits of ski films (getting excited for winter, watching new tricks, seeing new locations, etc) without properly rewarding the people that work to keep the culture alive. I don't advocate any sort of stealing, but it's certainly harder hitting on small production companies to absorb the losses in video sales that torrenting creates.

I'm super excited for the digital releases of these films, and I agree that dates would be nice to that I can know when I can buy them.

Used to buy em. Then i started college and have no money now. So its kinda hard not to get them when i can...

To reiterate...I DONT GIVE A FUCK

Why would I read a page of BS about why it is right to torrent ski movies?

Anyway for some useful info , I emailed level 1 and they said eye trip will be on itunes at the end of the month. They have not set a date just a time frame. Still stoked though!

To those of you that support ski movie torrents, get the #$"%&/( out of here!

"Side By Side" dropping soon on iTunes in the states. :)

what i would really like to see is when you get the movie digitally it still comes with the special features. EDIAS came with none on itunes it was just the ovie. special eatures pretty much make it wirthwhile to buy the movie

if you care so much about skiing industry, why do you try to get/get sponsored instead of buying five pairs of skis every season, and beat the shit out of it so you can buy new ones next season?
is it because you rather get shit for FREE when you could have PAID and SUPPORTED THE INDUSTRY?
rethink.
oh snap! not everyone shits money!let the hate begin.

fucking terrible comparison. and dont pull this wah wah not everyone is rich BS, ski movies arent a need theyre a huge luxury. if youre so fucking strapped for cash youre not worried about ski movies, and if you are, get old/free ones

when you download such a file - you would be able to burn it to a disk so you could watch it anywhere with a dvd player right?

It's really hard to purchase the movie when the information on it's release is unavailable. When will eye trip come out on iTunes???

here'y my (somewhat cynical) guess: they see the benefit of selling it on itunes, but would rather people buy the DVD instead, so theyre in no hurry to get it up on itunes or tell people when it will be, and maybe more people will get impatient and just buy the DVD.

i cant blame them for wanting to sell DVDs rather than 8 dollar (of which im sure a small amount goes to them) digital copy, but at the same time, i dont think they can really blame me for wanting the digital copy seeing as ive bought 8 trillion ski DVDs over the last 9 years, and every single one of them is too scratched to play

Are you fuckin eight years old? $7 to download eye trip is so much money man! Fuck grow up were not in grade 1 $7 is nothing.

i highly doubt these film production companies will be making any less money for a digital download then for a physical copy. They are in the business of making money. i am sure the costs for a physical dvd are adjusted to compensate for shipping, handling, packaging and materials. It is simply cheaper to produce a digital download. Pretty sure they are making virtually the same amount of money through dvd sales and digital download sales.
