has anyone ever worn anything other than ski goggles? no matter what I do my goggles always fog up. I never wipe the inside of the lens, I keep my helmet vents open, I don't put my balaclava mask under the nose foam. bouta see me ripping down the mountain with fucking swim goggles on pretty soon cause nothing's working for me

In the backcountry we all be wearing them sunglasses man! Or get yourself some safety specs for clear lenses. Lol I'd love to see you ripping in swim mask and snorkel tho

might have to pull them out when spring rolls around

If you're foggin you're overheating somehow. Drop a layer or two and see if it keeps happening. Also, it's important to dry your goggles between days or they'll fog between the lenses.

Dry your goggles out at night. If you’re putting them back in a bag without ventilation or a way for them to breathe after your done for the day, they are pretty much always going to fog up on you the next day you go skiing. Don’t wear them on your head or helmet walking to the hill either.

Another tip… merino wool balaclavas and buffs pretty much get rid of fogging issues altogether unless you’re just one hot motherfucker

if the inside lens gets too cold it can also cause fogging. i find my oakleys are notoriously bad for it, worse than the spys or dragons ive had.

before riding i let the inside of my goggle warm up on the windsheild heater while i put my boots on.

it can also happen if your goggles are too loose and enough air gets in them to cool off the inside lens.

they also have to helmets that have the visor thats atached. never tried them, probably never will.

i have buddies on the coastal range that swear by pit viper style glasses, but theyre into the uphill more than anything else.
