Eye opening books?

Dharma Bums - Jack Kerouac

Sometimes a Great Notion - Ken Kesey

maybe not eye opening, but really dope books.

.Shooter (no not related to the movie in any way. It's an Autobiography) by Gunnery Sergeant Jack Coughlin

One of the better books I've read because it's a post 9/11 war book. Really shows you their perspective.

i can barely pass math class, or english, but i read as much as i can, i think being able to read good is one of the best things you can do.

The Giver- i gaurantee this book makes you think, its also mad short, and easy as fuck to read

Everything Is illuminated- i read it like 5 years ago, so it might not be really that good, but i remember it really made me think

Black hawk down

In the company of Heroes (black hawk down from pilots perspective)

anything else by mark bowden

that Ishmael book about the gorilla

the things they carried-its about Vietnam, and also shows a bunch of the process of writing a book, among other things, it was pretty dope all in all

the divine comedy- its long as fuck, sometimes its boring as fuck, and the whole thing is a poem, but after you finish it you can tell people that you read it, and it will impress them and its also pretty good

hitchikers guide to galaxy- its just good, kinda funny

how to kill a mockingbird- you probably had to read it for english, but it teaches good shit

cell-its by stpehn king, and its just a really sick zombie attack scenario thing

zombie survival guide- its awesome, and totally serious

world war z- same author as zombie survival guide, and its kinda badly written in some parts, but again, its funny

agreed, I read this for class, it shows the real perspective of American soldiers in Vietnam. Even if it was on sparknotes I would have read the book.

i really had a jaw drop at the end of invisible monsters. i also saw it coming, but also was giddy with the ending.
the tipping point is an interesting look at the world through marketing perspectives of the rise and fall of events and items. it's a simple read too.
