Extremes to short?

i dont know, i held up extremes next to some kung fujas and they were like 2 inches longer, both were labled 179's. then i held the kung's next to some other ski which was a 181 and the kungs were about the same. i think their pow skis are longer than they list, but for park ski's i think its right on
 
Yeah the comparison lies when you compare K2 lengths to an equivalent length with another manufacturer

In any case, get a tape measure and those Extremes will be a few cm longer than 179
 
guys its not the height, its the fact that this guy is 300 pounds! haha man your huge. skis must be noodles for you. hate to say it but your in kinda rough shape, as for finding a ski. go as stiff as you can. its sick that your that big and can still rip it.
 
so is this measurement story true? I just ordered the 179 extreme, does this mean I just bought like a 183? Not a big deal if it's only a few centimeters, just more strange than anything else I guess.

Ah, okay. I was gonna say "Holy shit, you need the biggest size they have!" but now you're mortal. Ummmm, you should be fine on those, depending on your skill level. If you're advanced, they might feel like not enough ski for you. I'm 6ft and 185, and I ride 180s...actually, we're about the same size, so yeah, you should be fine on them.
