I say get rid of toon porn. Not only do their pop ups distract me when Im watching REAL porn, but it attracts little children who unknowningly click on dragon ball z links to find bulma getting her anus ripped open and vageta squirting in her blue hair.
 
Censorship violates the constitutional right to free speech. The whole purpose of the First amendment is to protect unpopular ideas and forms of expression from suppression by an offended or antagonized majority. Censoring porn would be going against the constitutional. The individual in society should have the choice whether he or she wants to par take in the visual consumption of porn. Educational institutions could enlighten individuals about porn like they enlighten individuals about drugs, but in the end it should come down to the freedom to choose. If people want to look at gonzo porn, then let them.

as long as its consentual yeah, who's to say what's wrong and what's right ... but that stuff about having sex with animals, that should be illegal since a horse cant really give consent and that could be seen as animal abuse...

Fucking an actual corpse should be illegal but I think that if some freak wants to make a corpse manican(sp) and fuck it then it doesn't hurt anyone else so who cares? Personally I think that stuff is truely disgusting but if it isn't hurting anyone that doesn't want to be hurt then what is the big deal? maybe I am the only one who thinks this way but I think it is just silly for the government to interfere in these types of things unless of course people are being unwillingly hurt or children are involved.

And about the comment with horses not consenting, If a horse doesn't buck your ass off I think he's consenting. jk about the horse thing. but the first paragraph is serious.

No, but on a serious note, glad it's official now. Then again kiddie porn is illegal too and still mad people find ways to get it legally. Kid I used to know when I was mad young got arrested for it cus he had like 3 terabytes, he got it all from simple web searches he said in court.

i would be happy if it was outlawed, but then again it would contradict the constitution or whatever says that you have the right to freedom of expression. the shit with corpses could definately be made illegal

I actually know very well how the british governement works. I dated an oxford student while she was doing a summer internship at the Mt. Hood cultural center and museum. We got drunk one night and I asked her to explain it to me how a "constitutional monarchy" works, three hours later I was very well informed on the topic.

This law is Part of a bigger problem, "add-ons" this was an "add-on" to a larger bill, which made it receive less attention and definition, so there are gonna be allot of teething problems (no pun), this should have spent another few months in the making, I agree in essence with the bill, but the new form of policy is bordering on big brother, I read only a few hours ago that local councils were taking peoples rubbish and browsing through it without informing or forewarning the households whose rubbish they were looking at, that deserves a trip to court...

in other news: does that mean that possessing films such as Golden Eye and Basic Instinct is now a criminal offense?
 
If it hurts someone, its illegal, but if everything is consented and safe, it should be permitted. But the argument that because a lady was murdered and the killer was addicted to violent porn, doesn't mean that we should ban it all together. Its like saying violent music incites violent behavior. It doesn't.

Believe it or not, some people like to be shitted on (not me though ick). Some people have rape in a cosplay senario and enjoy it. Some love to be tied and beat, if they agree to this stuff its fine.

So, consented porn=ok

non-consented leading to physical or psychological pain=illegal
