So I have an external hard drive that has always come up as Local Disk (E:). Now I just plugged my comp back in and it is showing up as Local Disk (F:) so a lot of programs on my comp don't know where to look for their files. How do I switch it back to drive E? THere is nothing else using the E at the moment so I don't know why it doesn't just default there. + karma for help

Oh yeah this is on a PC. Mostly encountering problems in XP but if it's fixable in Ubuntu that'd be cool. I hate Windows.

yeah I've tried unmounting and plugging it in all six slots and switching it with my mouse/keyboard and no go. and as I said tehre is no (E:) drive in right now.

have the ext HD plugged in then go into administrative tools, computer management >> storage >> dick management

then find the drive and right click, change drive letter and paths >> then change it to what you want

that may work?

Why the fuck would you want to troll on an alias when you can just troll on your main account, unless youre just going to go around posting porn and calling people niggers~
