what type of external hard drive do you recommend for a dell laptop?

i looked at circuit city and found this, and it looks like an OK price.

i mainly wanna transfer my music and videos from my laptop to a new harddrive so i dont start slowing down my computer...

go to sams club and get a western digital "My book" last year i payed around 100$ for a 250gb one, so i bet you can get around a 320gb one for that price.............

what ever you do i would definitely get one that has a power supply otherwise the RPM's will be allot slower

I have a "lacie disk" idk that much about it cuz my dad bought it but it works well if that helps.

i have the 350 gb version of this hooked up to my dell. it treats me well, i would highly recommend
