Alright so I just copied my itunes library onto my new external harddrive, from my existing harddrive which was running out of space. Am I all good to delete the copy on my original harddrive and just have the other copy on the external running for itunes? or will I be screwed and loss all my music if I delete the original copy?
 
its cool but you need to delete your current itunes library and add the songs from the external to itunes, because itunes wont know where the songs are
 
exactly, most of the time when you move songs, itunes is like wtf. So you will always have to have your external HD running in order to play itunes otherwise you will have ! in your itunes
