There are many, many reasons that an addict would use in a public bathroom or a similar place, and while homeless people will use a bathroom (if they can even USE one. Don't know where you live, but basically in every major city, particularly in neighborhoods with homeless people and fiends, bathrooms are locked and aren't accessible save buying something, and even then people who "look the part" are mostly turned away), plenty of people who aren't will also.

There's a level of anonymity and privacy. There's access to water, tissue paper, flat surfaces. Addicts hide their addictions from friends, family, wives, housemates. People do drugs all day, anytime, anywhere.

People doing drugs in public IS a problem. I worked somewhere where an employee was stuck by a flushed needle in the process of unclogging a public toilet.

As to the OP.

People do drugs, of varying degrees of, uh.."hardness" for lots of reasons. Maybe some are followers, or maybe others are just curious and experimental, or had a good friend try something, have a positive experience, with seemingly little or no consequences, and decide to see what it's all about. Or, and I think is the case in most severe situations, the person is struggling on some level, or looking to escape, or self-medicate, etc. Generally, people with genuine, life-altering/disabling relationships with drugs or alcohol are all too aware and miserable.

As for recreationally taking mushrooms, smoking pot, drinking, yeah...you're just being a butthurt bitch. A bitch about not being able to control the values of your girlfriend and the fact that she sees it differently, says so, and acts how she chooses. I think this maybe has a lot more to do with your fear about your girlfriend's behavior ("Oh my god!! She takes acid even though she knows I think it's bad! She's too independent and what else is she doing that I don't approve of?!").

The lethal dose for acid is ridiculously high. The LD50 (dosage at which 50 percent of people would die) is about 200 micrograms/ kg. If you weigh 150 pounds, that's 30,000 micrograms for a lethal dose. Assuming a hit of acid is 100 micrograms, thats 300 tabs of acid. So essentially, acid cannot kill you unless the circumstances are extreme beyond rationality.

definitely bad for you. I've met a few people who have done a lot of molly (and other things) and they are definitely different. It's side effects are of a meth addiction but IMO the major difference is meth is something some use habitually while molly is once in a while so usually you don't see the effects so badly

Modern tests show clean MDMA has no residual long standing effects on the human brain and someone who used actively for a while won't have any signs of it in their body after a month. The issue with molly is that it is not molly anymore. It's near impossible to find actual MDMA when buying molly now, and that is what's dangerous. Molly has become a term to represent any type of substance or mixed substances in a pill form that you take at a festival or club that has effects remotely close to those of pure MDMA.

And that is why I don't take molly/EDM/ravers seriously at all. I have been lucky enough to "have friends" who have done acid, shrooms, LSA, LSH, DMT, and others and the cultures are totally different.

Just last night 2 girls came over to my house to buy molly from another mutual friend who was spending the night. He had 2 different "strains" of molly (lol already so dumb), one that was almost pure white and one that was tan. one of the girls asks which one to get, hes like idk i have no idea which is better or how their different, then the other girl says the one is better.

She says the other looks like it might have sass in it and not be pure molly.

It probably was better quality, and certainly had more MDMA in it than the average point found today, but Molly was never even intended to be MDMA.

MDMA was the active in ecstasy, but ecstasy was a blend of drugs that combined with the MDMA to give a unique Euphoria. Of course it was quickly cut and changed from dealer to dealer, but that same euphoric high was still achieved even through shittier chemicals, but the same thing has happened with molly. Take MDMA, cut it down "safely" using a bit of meth and/or coke, ingest, sell, profit; take MDMA, cut it down "cheaply" using RC's, more meth, and usually no MDMA or barley any MDMA at all, and sell it for giant profits.

Next with her statement, the sass. Sassafrases was actually the main source of extracted MDMA. But this bitch don't know that, she just heard someone else who sounds smarter say it and is repeating it to not seem like a drug n00b.

This was only one girl, but it kind of sums up the entire issue with molly. MDMA is safe(ish), but random blends of meth and rc's are not, and while people should be free to make their own descisions, it pisses me off hearing how safe molly is when anyone who tests it or has enough logic to understand how drug profits work knows the opposite.

Just want to point out the fact that nobody ever cuts anything with coke. 90% of the time cocaine would cost more than the drug you are cutting it into.
