they probably taste ok. I drank some beer this summer which expired in '97, and it tastet like vinegar.

canned and bottle beer is pasteurized, so that "expire" date really doesn't mean shit....it'll last for quite a while after that date, it just won't taste as fresh though. Keg beer on the other hand, don't mess with that, it's unpasteurized and it'll get you sick, plus taste like a moldy towel

over the summer me and my friends drank some month old keg beer...the keg had been sittin out on my friends deck that whole month too so it was all warm and shit...we tapped it with a screwdriver and a bucket and bonged the beer. god it was nasty.
