Hi, I need advice. I'm looking for a second pair of skis. I currently have Line Sick Day 114, which are very versatile. But I'm looking for something a little more manageable at slower speeds, something suitable for the forest and deep snow. Something playful, but also a little stable. Not completely soft skis. I have a very good price offer for the Armada Magic J and I also like these skis very much. Do you think this is a good choice for what I have described? What is your experience with Magic J? Are they good skis? I will use them with touring bindings. If necessary, I will feel free to provide more information about myself. Thank you for your advice and experience.

I have a pair of them and also a pair of the ARV 116 JJ zeros. I really like both skis and the magic j is definitely in line with what you are looking for. It is a bit heavy for touring, I use my 116s for touring. Definitely think about the binding you are going to be throwing on this. A frame binding is going to make for a great charger setup, but it going to be massively heavy on the uphill. I would not be a huge fan of a lightweight pin binding for that ski, but I am not a huge fan of pin bindings.

The only issue to consider is if you are going to get the number of deep days to warrant a ski like this. I tend to not take them out if it is less than 12 inches. So I get maybe 15 days, at most, on them a season?

If they are a good deal, then you might go for it! Mine have lasted me about 4 seasons and are holding up great.

In the meantime, thank you all for your reactions. Sounds good. Does anyone know if there have been any changes from model 2016 to model 2021?
