Im considering ordering from skiershop.com and I was wondering what experience people have had ordering from these guys, are they reliable or is it a bad idea?

so my friend ordered the fujatives, and they wouldnt come for a long time and wierd stuff happened, so i called the manager of skier shpo, and i bichted him the fuck out, and he hooked my friend up w/ the new mad trix, which are like twice as expensive, but yea, since then i heard they went bankrupt nad like owe a bunch of money and stuff...so yea it depends what r u ordering?

i orderes sum shirts and a helmet and a hoodie..............got the shirts quickly. after about a week of not getting one of the shirts, the hoodie, and the helmet i emailed them. told me the hoodie was completly out, and i wouldnt be charged for it, the helmet and shirt were on backorder. the helmet was supposed to shiop on the 5th....havnt gotten it. shirt is supposed to ship on the 20th not expecting that for another week. ive been trying to email them but havnt gotten a response.....i dont know whats going on...maybe they are shipping the helmet with the shirt? i have no idea

A couple of years ago they sent me the wrong skis and I sent them back--it took them awhile to sort it out and send me the right ones.

This year I ordered a helmet and a video...that was like two months ago and I just got the stuff the beginning of the week. and I live in Vermont.

They're just bad about shipping stuff and letting their customers know what;s up with their orders...I wouldn't suggest ordering from them if you need the stuff very soon.

i got my fujatives from them last january when they hit stores, and i didnt get them until mid-march when they were in stock, they said that they lost them in the inventory, bad experiance

i got a sweatshirt off it like in febuary with normal shippping and i got it the next day, me and my brother also got helmets off there during the summer, he got his in like 2 weeks, then mine was on backorder and i got mine like a week and a half later or so

so i've had pretty good experiences

There is a new onlineskishop opening next winter. It is already almost developed and will be so badass it will blow skiershop and thier shitty service out of the water. Great products that are hard to find and decent prices. I'll give more details soon.

 
They are good no doubt. Very professional, but the new company I am helping start has much better gear targeted at the smaller market, us. Like clothes that Backcountry would never carry, we will have.

 
Skiershop just gow new owners a month or two ago.... i've gone down to the shop two or three times now and it sick. The lady who owns it is really trying to target the store towards young freestyle skiers and the store is getting better and better. i would definately reccommend ordering from them

Your right. Never preach till the choirs is ready. But we have put alot of time, effort, and resorce into creating our shop. Plus, everyone is a lifelong skier or snowboarder. No old ladies running this store. And we have seen the mistakes that GetBoards.com and SkiShop.com have made. It will be next year though, as all warehouse issues and internet pages have only just been completed. So buying will commence at SIA for the 05/06.

I would LOVE to order from Corbetts, nothing but great service from em (we have gotten 2 pairs of skis and bindings off em) but when the price difference is almost $200 ($260 SS - $450 Cor) i think i would rather save my money

they dont carry the jacket im looking for unfortuantely either...SS was kinda my last choice to order from but its the only place besides Corbetts (who have to order it becasue they dont have it in stock) that carry the Eon jacket
