Expensive binding mounting

i went to the ski shop to mount my Fks 120 biindings on scratch FS WRS

but they said $79 for mount / calibaration

i thought that they rip off me be cause im an asian and speaking english bad

generally, how much do you pay for mounting??

a guy at a local shop told me it would be $70, to have them mounted in a week, because that would involve a rush fee. I told him it only takes 10 minutes to mount a pair of skis, and he respoded by saying that they had around 100 pairs of skis to mount before mine. (this was mid February) I just laughed, told him that I could see they only had 10-20 pairs of skis, and that it is rare for a shop to get 100 skis at once even during the pre season. and walked away.

generally when you buy bindings you get a free mount at that shop. However most shops charge between 20 to 40 dollars. It really depends on where you are from and which shops you get your service done at. I found that ski shops in places that have many ski shops closer together generally keep prices low, at least that is from experience. however the best thing to do if you don't get your equipment online is to get them mounted at the shop you buy them at.

hahahah, wow, pwned. i get free mounts at home, and i only had to pay 25 for a freehand mount. FREEHAND! jigs take seriously ten minutes. tell your shop to shove it.
