Expectations: Armada Henrik Harlaut ski.

Just saw that Henrik Harlaut is shreding his new pro model ski in France, but whats to expect out of the ski? Considering he has been riding the ARV alot lately im thinking its going to be something similar, but what are NS thoughs on the matter? Pic is for evidence, since it wouldnt be real without pics. 570601.jpeg

Sidenote: Is Henrik now a legitimate rasta man or what? haha
 
I doubt he gets a pro model. He isn't even on the armada pro team, he's still on the "am" team. Bdog would get one before he does
 
Henrik has said himself that he has one coming. I think it might have been part of his Armada deal when he got signed.
 
he was riding a ski that looked like something I hadn't seen before this summer, dark green metalic topsheets on a fully cambered ski that was wider than ar7's but not the same construction as the arv. Phil was riding some camber underfoot/rocker tip&tail skis too without the 5 point geometry, looked pretty sick
 
thats just how armada works. bdog was on the am team forever before he got put on the pro team i think 2 years ago? hornbeck is also still on the am team

as far as that ski goes, i highly doubt its his pro model ski. skiers like hornbeck, casabon, even torin were all on armada before henrik was. but i would be hyped for henrik if he did get his own pro model.
 
Considering he already has his pro model jacket already out, I wouldnt be surprised if he got skis, seeing as he has a large fan base behind him, and having a pro model would mean mucho dinero on armada's part, a prime example is ninthward, the only reason that company survived as a company is because he repped it and had his own pro model, which I might add is the most sold ninthward ski overall
 
Graphics are a pretty poor way of judging what's actually on a skier's feet. It's super easy to put a topsheet and base on a ski that's not production for prototyping or marketing reasons (Pep's Hellbents in Nimbus Niseko that have the Kung Fujas graphics, those old rockered Maiden AKs that Andy Mahre or Seth rode).
So who knows what he's skiing on, but the dude definitely deserves a pro model from Armada. Say what you like about his clothes or hair or whatever--he's tearing a streak a mile wide through jib and jump skiing.
 
This. He already has a pro model jacket and it seems likely he will be getting a ski because it will sell and that's what a business wants. I wouldn't be surprised to see phil get one too, but a Henrik Pro ski has been mentioned in interviews so I'm thinking it's likely to be in the works.
 
Sorry, untrue, has never been symmetrical. Henrik and Phil are working on a pro model together, that is true, it will release next year.
 
When he said "construction" I think he means the way they are built (flex). He said nothing about dimensions.

since b and e are all wu tang. i see this graphic. the throwback arv with these original colors like the wu-tang. see the bases of the ski that the op posted it has like spray paint running just like these
 
yeah it's just how armada works, which is fine i guess but yeah it's really dumb to have henrik be on the am team regardless of the reasons-- he's arguably the best park skier right now...inarguably in the top 3

but yeah i wonder how much different it would be from the ARV. i love my ARVs and would like to see what his pro model will/would be like
 
Hmm... I could see armada turning the t-hall into the B&E ski, seeing as tanner now has the magic J, but even then Henrik rides ARV's and B-Dog has been riding alpha's lately. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
 
iv been told they will never make a symmetrical ski cause they want there skis skied all over the mountain. but thats just what i was told.
 
i really want armada to come out with an arv like the jj and halo. an all mountain ripper around 95-100 under foot with rocker camber rocker.
 
573441.png Just found a new screen shot of the ski, seems like its a earlyrise tip and tail. Seems like a slightly wider park ski.

Capwall, so it's not the ARV. Probably just T-hall's or AR7's with a new top sheet. Again, I could definitely see Armada turning the T-Hall into the B&E, because Tanner is focussing on the backcountry and now has the Magic J.
 
definitely not the thall/ar7, the shape is completely different, the nose/tail of those skis do not look like that. it looks a bit like a capwalled/rockered arv. Which is roughly what you'd expect really.
 
i would definetely say that those are gunna be the new b and e ski especially after interveiws said that there were going to be a pair. so these are probably them
 
the picture of the "mystic" armada skis is a couple off skis that is maade for him so he can try them out
